Joslyn Art Museum's Peter Kiewit Foundation Sculpture Garden is open year-round from 7 am to 11 pm each day, and admission is free.


Museum Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm
Sunday, noon - 4 pm
Closed Mondays and major holidays*
Hours may change for special exhibitions.

*New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; and Christmas Day.

General Admissions:

  • $8 adults
  • $6 senior citizens (62 and older) & college students (with valid ID)
  • $5 age 5-17
  • FREE admission for ages four and younger and Joslyn members.
  • FREE general admission, Saturdays, 10 am–noon

Additional charge for some special exhibitions.

Go Play Adventure LogoJoslyn Art Museum is a site for the second annual GO! Play Adventure, sponsored by MORE Nature, the Junior League of Omaha, and the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District. Group Admissions:

  • $6.50 adults
  • $5 senior citizens (62 and older) & college students (with valid ID)
  • $4 per student for K-12 school groups*
  • Joslyn Members part of a group tour are free.

*All Omaha Public Schools groups are free. All 4th grade school groups taking the Native American / Western American Arts tour are free.

Groups of 10 or more receive group rates. All group tours must be scheduled in advance through group sales at Joslyn Art Museum. To schedule a group, e-mail Group Sales or call (402) 342-3300 ext. 206.

Access:

Free parking is available in the Parking Garden northeast of the Museum. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets. The northeast Parking Garden is accessible via the Dodge Street entrance drive to the south or the 24th Street entrance drive to the west.

Visitors may enter the Museum through the Memorial Building entrance or the atrium entrance of the Scott Pavilion, both located on the east side. Disabled visitors should use the atrium entrance. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis at no additional charge. The entire Museum is accessible to the disabled. Sign language interpreters are available with three weeks advance notice.

Rules:

During your visit to Joslyn, we ask for your help in caring for the Museum — the building, the art, and others who are visiting. Some things you will want to consider before leaving your home or hotel (a link to the complete list or guidelines for your visit is located at the bottom of this page):

  • No pets (but trained service animals are welcome).
  • No backpacks, large bags, or umbrellas. Lockers, a coat room, and umbrella stands are provided for your convenience.
  • No concealed weapons or handguns.
  • No photography. Photography without the use of a tripod is permitted in the fountain court and the atrium.
  • For young children, strollers and front carriers are allowed. Back carriers are not permitted in the galleries.
