Scott EdTech Gallery
The Scott EdTech Gallery is a learning center for Museum visitors, featuring a wide range of materials about art and artists, such as:
- computer programs and games for all ages
- daily screening of videos related to Joslyn's current exhibitions
- a comfortable reading area and browsing copies of nearly 500 books for both children and adults
In addition, Audio Guides and Art Packs can be checked out (free of charge) in the EdTech Gallery for use in the Museum galleries.
An education staff member is on hand at the EdTech Resource Desk to assist visitors during regular Museum hours (Tues.-Sat. 10am-4pm and Sun. 12noon-4pm). The EdTech Gallery is located on the lower level of the Joslyn Memorial building.
Computers
Six easy-to-use computers feature activities for both children and adults, including:
- online information about Joslyn's art collections
- art history lessons and self-quizzes
- an interactive program on perspective and painting techniques
- fun, playful ways for children to explore great artworks
- games about color, light, composition, and more

Visitors can also link to selected art- and museum-related sites on the World Wide Web via the EdTech Gallery computers.
Audio Guides
High school students and adults will enjoy Joslyn's Art of the American West Audio Guide. The guides include commentary about ten objects from Joslyn's American Indian and Western art collections.
Art Packs
Art Packs provide a fun and educational tool for families and school groups to use as they explore the Museum galleries.

Each Art Pack contains objects to touch and suggested activities, encouraging children to look closely and learn about selected artworks within a particular theme or gallery. Designed for groups of up to five children (ages 5-12), accompanied by at least one adult, most Art Packs can be completed in 30-45 minutes. Choose from a variety of Art Pack themes.
