Joslyn Art Museum is excited to introduce digital membership cards as a benefit of membership!
The digital membership cards can be downloaded and saved to your smartphone. Going digital means, you never have to worry about forgetting your membership card, plus it&#8217;s more environmentally friendly. After joining or renewing your membership, you will receive an email within a week with a link to download your card. We hope these answers to common questions help you understand your new digital card.

Digital Membership Card

Your digital membership card is unique to your membership and displays your name, membership level, expiration date, and a barcode for us to scan. 
Show your digital membership card to Visitor Services, The Shop, and Cafe staff to take advantage of your member benefits.

How will I use my digital membership card?

Digital membership cards will be sent to the primary email address of every active member. You must open this email on your mobile device and follow the instructions to download the card. The card will automatically be stored in your phone’s wallet app. Android users may need to install Wallet Passes from the Play Store before downloading your card.

How do I receive my digital membership card? 

Access the email from your smartphone and click the &#8220;Download&#8221; button, then click &#8220;Add to Wallet&#8221; and &#8220;Add.&#8221; The card will automatically go to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet. It can be accessed in Apple Wallet at any time.

How do I add the membership card to my iPhone?

Access the email you received from your smartphone and click the “Download Membership” button, then click on “Add to Google Wallet.”  A preview will appear.  Click on “Save to Google Wallet.”  In some cases, Google Wallet might ask you to log in so you can save it to an account.  Please log in to continue.  You will be able to access the card from the Google Wallet at any time.

How do I add the membership card to my Android phone?

The email you receive will provide step-by-step instructions and a link to download the recommended wallet application to store your digital membership card and similar types of digital cards and passes.

What if I don’t have a wallet app installed on my phone?

Digital membership cards for Advocate, Ambassador, Sustainer, Benefactor, Visionary, and Director’s Circle members display the NARM logo and list participation in the reciprocal programs as a benefit of the membership level. Simply show your digital membership card at participating museums to receive free or reduced admission!

How will my reciprocal benefits work when visiting other museums?

Navigate to the “back of the card” by clicking the small “i” or the button with three dots on the front of the card. Along with the membership benefits associated with your membership, you will also find a “Share Pass” button to send the card to your secondary member or children. After selecting “Share Pass” you will need to select the email or mail option to share your pass. iPhone users can share the pass via text message if sending it to another iPhone.

I have a Dual/Family membership and I want to share the card with my partner or children, how can they receive the card?

If you have an iPhone, the card will automatically download to Apple Wallet. Check the app for your new card and scroll through any cards that are already downloaded. If you have an Android, you’ll need to download Wallet Passes from the Play Store before downloading the card.

I downloaded my card, but I can’t find it.

Yes! The digital card will automatically update when your membership information changes. For example, your expiration date and membership level will automatically update the next time you renew or upgrade your membership. This means that you are only required to download the card once!

Will my digital card update when I renew my membership?

Yes! Please contact us at (402) 661-3858 or membership@joslyn.org, and we can resend the email for you to download and enjoy your digital membership card. You may also want to check the Junk, Spam, and Unwanted folders of your email.

I am not sure I received my digital card. Can you send it to me again?

Yes! Please contact us at (402) 661-3858 or membership@joslyn.org to update your information. Please also review and update your contact information as you renew your membership.

Can I update the email address or addresses associated with my membership?

If you&#8217;re looking to access a PDF version of your membership card, you&#8217;re in luck! We recently introduced a new feature that allows you to conveniently download the front of your card. Here&#8217;s a quick guide on how to do it:

<li> Open Your Email: Locate the email that was sent to you by the organization associated with your membership.</li>
<li> Click or Tap the Download Membership Card Button: Within the email, you&#8217;ll find a button labeled &#8220;Download Membership Card.&#8221; Click or tap on this button to initiate the download process.</li>
<li>Scroll or Swipe Down: Once you&#8217;ve clicked the button, you&#8217;ll be directed to a preview of your membership card. Scroll or swipe down until you see the &#8220;Or print a physical copy&#8221; option.</li>
<li> Click or Tap on the &#8220;Or Print a Physical Copy&#8221; Link: Locate the &#8220;Or print a physical copy&#8221; link and click or tap on it to proceed.</li>
<li> Download the PDF: After clicking the link, you&#8217;ll be presented with the option to download the front of your membership card in PDF format. Simply click or tap on the download button to save the PDF file to your device.</li>

That&#8217;s it! You&#8217;ve successfully downloaded a PDF version of your membership card.

How can I download a PDF version of my membership card and print it? 

By default, all members will now receive a digital membership card sent to the email address you provide. If you cannot print a membership card using the instructions above or prefer to receive a paper membership card instead, please contact us at (402) 661-3858.

What if I prefer a paper membership card?
