Art Break: Sphinx by Simone Leigh
Join us for a midday break, as we spend 30 minutes with one work of art: Simone Leigh (American, born 1967), Sphinx, 2021. We’ll delve into the slow looking process, an approach that allows for learning and discovery through extended observation time. Kris Bergquist, Head of Community Programs, will introduce and guide the conversation.
The free, drop-in program takes place in Simon Gallery, Hawks Pavilion H9. It is part of a series, occurring every two months in different spaces throughout the Museum.
