Lisa Alvarado Artist Talk

Wed Dec 10, 6PM–7PM

Free for Joslyn members; $10 for general public; registration required here; walk-ins accepted as space allows; 5 pm cash bar in Cafe Atrium

Join us for a conversation with artist Lisa Alvarado and Karin Campbell, Phil Willson Curator of Contemporary Art and the principal curator for the Riley Contemporary Artists Project Gallery. The exhibition, Lisa Alvarado: Meeting of winds, is on view through Jan 18, 2026 in the Riley CAP Gallery.

Transformations both large and small have long inspired Alvarado. For this exhibition, an ethereal soundscape and lively, abstract paintings bridge sensory experiences and create an immersive environment that asks visitors to contemplate their own presences in this place.
