Symphony Joslyn

Free pre-concert art tours at 11 am and noon and pre-concert music talk at 1:15 pm (open to all); ticketed concert at 2 pm.    

Join us for an art-filled day on selected Sundays through May, with the Omaha Symphony playing repertoire ranging from exciting new works to established gems. Arrive early to stroll the galleries on your own or participate in a public tour, enjoy lunch in The Cafe, or make a stop in The Shop before the ticketed concert in the Witherspoon Concert Hall.

11 am & noon—Public Tours (meet in Hawks Pavilion, Entry Atrium) 

All visitors are welcome to join a pre-concert art tour. Gallery Volunteers will facilitate conversations about works of art chosen for their thematic links to the musical program that day. Gallery Stools provided. 

1:15-1:45 pm—Pre-Concert Talk (Abbott Hall) 

Symphony staff members will share insights about the musical program for that day’s concert. 

2 pm—Concert 

OCT 12: Schubert’s Great C Major 

Schubert’s final symphony thunders in all its resplendent glory to open the Symphony Joslyn series.
