This class will teach foundational figure drawing skills, while also giving students a chance to experiment with color and style. We will spend three classes drawing from a live, clothed model, then spend three classes using our drawings to create something new using mixed media techniques. Traditional figures in the European galleries, along with stylistic figurative work in the contemporary galleries, will inspire our choices as we work.
