
KETV Family Festival: A Holiday Lights Festival Program

The Joslyn is part of the KETV Family Festival, an annual program presented in partnership with downtown Omaha’s arts and cultural community during the Holiday Lights Festival (Nov 29–Jan 1). Enjoy a festive day full of family-friendly activities at your favorite Downtown Omaha attractions, with Ollie the Trolley providing free transportation between all the venues.
Activities at The Joslyn
- 11 am–noon, Dripping Earth: Cannupa Hanska Luger Public Tour, led by Gallery Volunteers
- 11 am–noon, Musical performances by the Omaha Conservatory of Music Strings Chamber Ensembles and the String Sprouts Mandela Scholars
- 11 am–3 pm, Heartfelt Holiday Prints—design and print a festive motif to make a unique greeting card or gift tag.
- 11 am–4 pm, Design a Button—create a personalized pin to wear or gift as a gift.
- 11 am–4 pm, Visit an Art Cart facilitated by Gallery Volunteers.
- 1–1:45 pm, Enjoy holiday performances by Omaha Central High School Singers and Bell Choir, led by Sara Cowan and Kathryn Bohn.
- 2–3 pm, The Joslyn’s Highlights Public Tour, led by Gallery Volunteers
Don’t forget to check out more great spaces—The Cafe offers food and drink for sale. The Shop has beautiful art items for all ages and interests. Art Works: A Place for Curiosity is an interactive space with nine activity stations for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).
