Join us to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Omaha Weavers and Spinners Guild with a day of spinning and weaving demonstrations, presentations, and displays in the Museum&#8217;s Community Room. The Omaha Weavers and Spinners Guild had their first show at the Joslyn Art Museum 75 years ago, displaying table linens designed and woven by its members for a contemporary Chinese art exhibition. The guild meets monthly and provides programs in all fiber-related arts, as well as educational outreach and exhibitions in the community.
