Sat, Mar 22, 10 am–2 pm

Free, drop-in program

Join us to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Omaha Weavers and Spinners Guild with a day of spinning and weaving demonstrations, presentations, and displays in the Museum’s Community Room. The Omaha Weavers and Spinners Guild had their first show at the Joslyn Art Museum 75 years ago, displaying table linens designed and woven by its members for a contemporary Chinese art exhibition. The guild meets monthly and provides programs in all fiber-related arts, as well as educational outreach and exhibitions in the community.
