Opening Day
Join us for the reopening of The Joslyn, Tuesday, September 10, 1–8 pm. 5,000 years of human creativity in art across three buildings. 100 works new to the collection on view. Three outstanding exhibitions. One stunning new building. Free general admission to all, always. Your Museum, reimagined.
Opening Day will introduce the new Rhonda & Howard Hawks Pavilion, premiere the Phillip G. Schrager Collection, and showcase a number of exciting changes in the 1931 Joslyn Building and the 1994 Suzanne & Walter Scott Pavilion. Be sure to stop by Studio 1 to “Make Your Mark” and add to a collaborative mural that will be on view at the Museum through the end of the year.
A Welcome Guide and Opening Program will offer highlights to watch for and direction to additional resources, including The Joslyn’s new digital guide, to augment your visit on opening day and beyond.
