Guided group visits will begin in January 2025, and can be scheduled Tuesdays–Sundays, 10 am–4 pm. Guided visits with our Gallery Volunteers are interactive experiences, filled with lively conversation about art on view that will engage the senses and build visual literacy skills. Groups who want a guided visit can choose from four different tour topics—How to Look at Art, Art of Our Time, The Joslyn&#8217;s Highlights, or the temporary exhibition All Aboard: The Railroad In American Art, 1840-1955. Shopping and dining options can complete the visit.

Guided group visits

Self-guided group visits will begin in October 2024, during all regular Museum hours. Self-guided visits are for adult groups who want the freedom and flexibility to explore The Joslyn on their own, with shopping and dining options available to complete the experience. There are self-guided resources available for your visit—printed Art Cards located near the Welcome Desk in the Hawks Pavilion and our digital guide available on the free Bloomberg Connects app, downloadable to your phone.

Self-guided group visits 

Interested in visiting The Joslyn with a group of twelve or more adults? Book a self-guided visit (available beginning October 2024) or a guided tour (starting January 2025).
Adult groups larger than twelve people must submit an Adult Group Visit Request Form, whether they want a guided tour or a self-guided visit. Group visits are free, with the exception of some temporary exhibitions. Four weeks advance notice is required.
