Higher Education
Ready to Book?
Planning for the next school year? Self-guided visits may be requested now, and we will resume booking guided tours on Aug 1. Gallery Teachers lead engaging tours on Tue, Thu, and Fri from 9 am to 1 pm during the school year, Sep 30–May 8.

Service-Learning Projects
Would your class like to collaborate with The Joslyn on a service-learning project? We work with the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Service Learning Academy (UNO SLA), and we request UNO instructors contact them to get started. For other higher ed institutions, contact us with your ideas. All projects should be planned in the semester or trimester prior to when they will be part of your syllabus.

CU Gallery Teacher Internship
In partnership with Creighton University’s College of Arts and Sciences, The Joslyn established an academic year-long, paid internship program for undergraduates (juniors and seniors) and recent graduates who lead PK-12 school and higher ed group tours. Through training and practical experience, this cadre of students, called Gallery Teachers, will gain a strong foundation for future work in the arts, education, and the museum field. They also strengthen their critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills, which are applicable to all career paths. Our inaugural group’s majors include art history, studio art, elementary education, theology, chemistry, biology, English, international relations, cultural anthropology, and Spanish and Hispanic studies.
