Welcome
Arrival & Parking
The Joslyn is accessible on foot or via car, bike, or bus.
By car, access the main entrance drive on the north side from James Fous Avenue or to the south from Dodge Street. Covered visitor drop-off directly in front of main entrance. Free parking on-site (first come, first served) or metered parking on surrounding streets. Expect crowds. If visiting with friends or family, consider arriving together in one vehicle.
By bike, racks are available (user must supply own lock); helmets may be stowed in free lockers near the Welcome Desk.
By bus, Metro Transit’s 24th & Dodge ORBT Station NW is just steps west of the Museum.

The Shop
Open during all regular Museum hours. Closed Mon.
The Durham Cafe presented by Clean Slate

The Cafe seating areas are open to Cafe patrons during all regular Museum hours.
Admission
Free general Museum admission at The Joslyn is generously provided by the Holland Foundation.
Everyone is admitted at no cost to The Joslyn during all regular Museum hours. All permanent collection galleries and most temporary exhibitions are included in free general Museum admission.
Selected temporary exhibitions have a ticket fee for those ages 13 and older. Ticketed exhibitions are always free to those 12 and younger. For every ticketed exhibition, The Joslyn schedules days when tickets are free to all.
Shine the Light on Hunger
Support Shine the Light on Hunger by bringing non-perishable food items with you when you visit The Joslyn throughout the month of December. A drop-off bin will be located by the main entrance of the Museum to collect your donations. The most needed items include peanut butter, beans, canned tuna and chicken, macaroni and cheese, pasta and sauce, cereal, pancake mix, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed meals, and kid-friendly cans with pull-top lids. Your generosity will help the Food Bank for the Heartland provide five million meals this holiday season!
