Gallery Volunteer Information Session

Sat Apr 27, 10:30AM–11:30AM

In anticipation of Joslyn’s September reopening, the Museum is introducing a new Gallery Volunteer program.

We are looking for people in the community who are interested in facilitating conversations about art with adult and intergenerational audiences in the galleries. You do not need to be an art expert to enjoy art and to share that passion with others. Gallery Volunteer training will help you develop the skills you need, and it is designed to accommodate busy schedules. Initial training includes eight fall sessions on evenings and weekends, followed by monthly learning sessions on select Saturday mornings.

We encourage any adult who is “art curious” to attend a Gallery Volunteer Information Session. At each session, the Museum’s staff will share a short presentation, followed by opportunities to ask questions and enjoy light refreshments. Thanks to Omaha Public Library for allowing us to use their branch locations while the Museum remains closed.
