This exhibition is the culmination of collaboration between The Joslyn and Angel Guardians, Inc. (AGI), an Omaha-based organization that provides services and a nurturing environment for people of all abilities to enhance their life skills, self-sufficiency, and self-esteem. Participants in AGI’s Artists at the Museum program explored art, built relationships, and expressed themselves creatively during eighteen visits to The Joslyn. Each Museum visit included a guided looking experience in a gallery and a workshop to experiment with art media and techniques in the studio.
