Two children work on colorful art projects at a table covered with paper, yarn, and craft materials in a classroom or art studio setting. One child wears pink, the other wears purple.

Art You Wear (Ages 6–8)

Sat Jan 31, 10AM–12PM

Saturdays: January 17, 24, 31, February 7; 10 am–noon

Turn yourself into a walking work of art in this class that explores printmaking, jewelry making, and fiber arts. We’ll learn to print designs on fabric, create dyed fabric batiks, and sculpt polymer clay to make colorful beaded jewelry and other items of adornment. Lines, colors, and patterns we see in the galleries will inspire the designs we create in the studio.

Teaching Artist: Therese Straseski
