Bison Bead Workshop

Thu Jan 15, 4PM–6PM

Drop-in, free monthly art-making workshops for all ages

All dates: Sat, Dec 20, 10 am–noon; Thu, Jan 15 and Feb 26; 4–6 pm

Join us to create clay beads for Cannupa Hanska Luger’s Bison Bead Project, an ongoing collaborative art effort honoring the resilience of Plains bison. These drop-in workshops are led by Museum staff, using a model developed by the artist. There are many similar programs being held around the country and Luger is using the clay beads in new works of art, including the sculpture, Census, on view in the temporary exhibition Dripping Earth: Cannupa Hanska Luger.

Made possible with generous support from Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
