Several people are in a bright art studio; one woman paints pottery, while another, seated, paints a ceramic piece. Jars of paint and brushes are scattered on the table. Other people work in the background.

Clay in the Garden (Teens & Adults)

Sat Aug 22, 1:30PM–3:30PM

Sat: Jul 25, Aug 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; 1:30–3:30 pm

Create functional and decorative ceramics for your outdoor space. Using slab and coil techniques, we’ll craft personalized plant markers, whimsical mushrooms, sculptural bird feeders, and small planters for patios or garden beds. Inspired by works in the Museum’s galleries and garden, we’ll use carving and surface‑texture methods to produce durable, handcrafted pieces ready for the outdoors.
