Young children sit around a table in a classroom, painting with watercolors. Art supplies and color charts are on the table, and the children appear focused on their creative projects.

Fine Lines (A)

Fri Jun 12, 1PM–4PM

Ages 6-8
Mon–Fri: Jun 8–12; 1–4 pm (pair with City Scenes)

Line is an element of art that can be found everywhere in the Museum- in artworks made across different times and cultures. From zigzags to swirls, bold strokes to tiny details, we’ll search the galleries to see how artists use lines in their artworks to tell stories, build patterns, and bring ideas to life, then create our own lively drawings, sculptures, prints, and paintings.
