Art, Music & Community Join us for an afternoon celebrating Hispanic culture! This free event includes gallery conversations in Spanish, cultural presentations, arts and crafts, and more. Three of the University of Nebraska Omaha&#8217;s (UNO) Spanish classes taught by Josefa M. Samper Suárez are producing this event as their service-learning project. This program is supported by UNO&#8217;s Department of World Languages and Literature, and the Office of Engagement. The Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska, invites the public to explore art spanning eras and cultures. General museum admission is free, made possible by philanthropic support and membership. The collection features European and American painting and sculpture, modern and contemporary works, and art from ancient civilizations, presented across a historic landmark building and newer galleries and garden spaces. Throughout the year the museum hosts special exhibitions, tours, lectures, performances, camps, and family programs that connect visitors with artists and ideas. As a regional hub for learning and creativity, The Joslyn supports students, educators, and lifelong learners through accessible interpretation and community partnerships.
