Canceled—Sculpt-amentals: Ages 9–12

Sat Nov 29, 1PM–3PM
Canceled due to inclement weather

Saturdays: November 8, 15, 22, 29; 1–3 pm

Joslyn Members: $68 per series; General Public: $80 per series

Students will explore the structural and coloring techniques sculptors use when creating art in-the-round. We’ll start by sketching sculptures we see in the galleries from different angles, then return to the studio and build with clay, cardboard, and foam to bring our two-dimensional sketches to life! Learn the importance of an armature, ways to attach pieces together, and how to create unity with color.

Teaching Artist: Harrison Cook
