Start your Sunday with ease, creativity, and connection. This gentle, indoor one-hour Slow Sunday yoga series welcomes visitors of all ages and all experience levels. The practice takes place in the Museum’s Community Room, featuring soft flooring underfoot and a full wall of glass overlooking the Courtyard Garden with its lush plantings and sculptures. Move through simple, mindful poses at an easy pace and soak in inspiration from both your body, the Museum setting, and an engaging discussion about a focus work of art.

Slow Sundays at The Joslyn happen on select Sundays, once a month. We encourage visitors to spend a peaceful, art-filled day at the Museum—sign up for a yoga class, explore the galleries, join a public tour, bring a project to the Fiber Get-Together program, and enjoy food and drink at The Durham Cafe.
