Transformations: Teen Workshop
Free program for teens only (ages 13-19); advance registration required. Registration is closed.
The artist Cannupa Hanska Luger often creates with materials like afghans and vintage sports equipment that he finds in thrift stores—supporting sustainability and continuing the traditions of his ancestors who used what was available to them. In this workshop, local artist Tom McLaughlin will share how he uses found objects in his own art practice and he will guide participants to create their own art with materials gathered from area thrift stores.
The workshop includes a guided tour of Dripping Earth: Cannupa Hanska Luger. Supplies and light refreshments provided.
