A young girl in a pink dress uses a glue stick while working on a colorful self-portrait at a table covered with art supplies, drawings, and crayons in a classroom or art studio.

Drawing: Mark Like a Master (Ages 6–8)

Sat Apr 18, 10AM–12PM

Saturdays: March 28, April 4, 11, 18; 10 am–noon

Learn to draw and blend with different drawing mediums, such as colored pencils, charcoal, and pastels, through exercises that explore value and color theory. We’ll spend time drawing from artworks in the galleries, then get messy in the studios, adding vibrant color and rich values to our drawings as we create landscapes and portraits, focusing on proportion, perspective, and value.

Teaching Artist: Stephanie Carlson-Pruch
