Mixed Media Cyanotypes: Ages 6–8

Sat Nov 1, 1PM–3PM

Saturdays: October 11, 18, 25, November 1; 1–3pm

Joslyn Members: $68 per series; General Public: $80 per series

Learn the cyanotype process, using photo-sensitive chemicals, to create your own prints using the power of the sun! We will combine this process with other artmaking techniques, such as watercolor painting, acrylic painting, and collage, to create layered artworks on paper and fabric with striking results. We’ll look to artists like Lisa Avarado and Lucas Samaras in the galleries for inspiration before experimenting with materials in the studios.

Teaching Artist: Harrison Cook
