Scrollathon Member Workshop
Free event for Joslyn members; space is limited and advance registration is required.
The Joslyn is excited to announce its role as a program host for the Nebraska Scrollathon, representing our community in the National Scrollathon for America’s 250th anniversary at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Art in summer 2026. This September, the Museum will welcome artists and brothers Steven and William Ladd, who will lead 12 hands-on workshops where participants will make (and keep!) an individual textile artwork, inspired by personal memories and experiences, and one to contribute to Nebraska’s collaborative work. The completed artwork—a celebration of 300 Scrollathon participants—will be on view in the Museum’s Connect Gallery in spring 2026.
On Wed, Sep 3, 10–11 am, 25 Joslyn members will have the honor and pleasure of kicking off Nebraska’s series of community workshops with the Ladds.
To register, please contact Maggie Koenig Development & Membership Coordinator, at (402) 933–8229 or mkoenig@joslyn.org.
