Free, drop-in program

Join us for a 30-minute, midday gallery talk that delves into community-engaged and art historical research of works on view, presented by The Joslyn’s curatorial staff. This program will be offered on select Wednesdays throughout the year.

Featured work: Eugène Delacroix (French, 1798–1863), The Entombment (after Peter Paul Rubens), 1836, oil on canvas, 28 × 21 in. (71.1 × 53.3 cm), Museum purchase, 1958.3, Photograph © Bruce M. White, 2019

Camryn Moore, Rae and Bill Dyer Curatorial Assistant, will speak about Eugène Delacroix’s copies after Peter Paul Rubens and art training in nineteenth-century France, in Gallery J3, Joslyn Building.
