Stories to Share: Teen & Adult Workshop
Free workshop for adults and teens; advance registration required.
Registration for this program has closed, but we are creating a waiting list. Please email Alexis Belme at abelme@joslyn.org if you’d like to be placed on the waiting list.
Inspired by the artist Cannupa Hanska Luger’s work that speaks to the importance of ancestral stories and connecting past, present, and future, participants at this art-making workshop will be using a part of their past to create a new story. Bring an object or image that evokes memories and stories about your family or significant people in your life, and local artist Amelia Broussard will guide you in using those materials to create a collage project, followed by an option to share with the group.
The workshop includes a guided tour of Dripping Earth: Cannupa Hanska Luger. Additional supplies and light refreshments are provided.
