The painting Russian Beauty with Cat (1865) by Konstantin Makovsky is an oil on canvas artwork, measuring approximately 45 1/2 x 36 1/2 inches, was part of the collection of Omaha businessman George Lininger and was later donated to the Joslyn Art Museum in 1954 by the family of Charles Martin, a subsequent owner of the painting.
