Art Break

Thu Nov 12, 12:30PM–1PM

Free, drop-in program

Join us for a midday break as we spend 30 minutes with one work of art. We’ll delve into the slow looking process—an approach that allows for learning and discovery through extended observation time.

Featured work:Ross Bleckner (American, b. 1949), 1944–1945, 1977/1980, oil and wax on canvas, 76 × 204 in. (193 × 518.2 cm), Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha, Nebraska, Memorial purchase in memory of E. Stanton Miller, II, 1980.43, © Ross Bleckner

Kris Bergquist, Head of Community Programs, will facilitate this conversation.

Meet in Scott Pavilion, Gallery S4
