Two children sit at a table doing crafts with paper, scissors, and other materials. The boy in front focuses on gluing a white paper plate, while the girl behind him works on her own project. Craft supplies cover the table.

The Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska, invites the public to explore art spanning eras and cultures. General museum admission is free, made possible by philanthropic support and membership. The collection features European and American painting and sculpture, modern and contemporary works, and art from ancient civilizations, presented across a historic landmark building and newer galleries and garden spaces. Throughout the year the museum hosts special exhibitions, tours, lectures, performances, camps, and family programs that connect visitors with artists and ideas. As a regional hub for learning and creativity, The Joslyn supports students, educators, and lifelong learners through accessible interpretation and community partnerships. When planning a visit, review exhibition and calendar pages for dates, hours, and any separately ticketed or registration-based programs, allow time to enjoy indoor and outdoor spaces, and check for accessibility services or large-print guides as needed. The museum’s mission is to bring people together through meaningful encounters with art.
