General museum admission is free, made possible by philanthropic support and membership. The collection features European and American painting and sculpture, modern and contemporary works, and art from ancient civilizations, presented across a historic landmark building and newer galleries and garden spaces. Throughout the year the museum hosts special exhibitions, tours, lectures, performances, camps, and family programs that connect visitors with artists and ideas.
