Art Break

Thu Jul 9, 12:30PM–1PM

Free, drop-in program

Join us for a midday break as we spend 30 minutes with one work of art. We’ll delve into the slow looking process—an approach that allows for learning and discovery through extended observation time.

Featured work: Relief of Isis and Osiris, Greco-Roman Egyptian, possibly found at el-Ashmunein (Hermopolis Magna), 305–30 BCE, sandstone, 21 1/4 × 17 1/4 × 1 3/4 in. (54 × 43.8 × 4.4 cm), Gift of Joslyn Women’s Association, 1964.29

Kris Bergquist, Head of Community Programs, will facilitate this conversation.

Meet at The Balcony, Joslyn Building
