Bars + beats + a professional string ensemble = a one-night-only performance that will blend genres, explore new sounds, and leave you wanting more!
Presenting: Issa Trap Symphony—Afro-fusion! Dreamland Productions LLC, the Omaha Symphony, and the Joslyn Art Museum have partnered to bring the trap symphony experience to Omaha, a national trend of events in major cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., combining R&B, Neo-Soul, Hip Hop, neo soul, and trap elevated by an orchestra.
Presented in The Joslyn’s Witherspoon Hall, Issa Trap Symphony will feature four Afro-fusion artists: Kevin Paradise, Joe.EZ, AJII, and Kusher Snazzy—accompanied by a string ensemble of Omaha Symphony musicians. This night of art and music also will feature Ray Bae the DJ, Afrobaddie, Big Wade & Black Swan Theory, and visual artists Jevon Woods and Menice “Mars” Blackman. Join us after the concert for a post-program mixer with cash bar, community, and conversation.
