Monthly Nights at The Joslyn events are evenings for art immersion. Come out for art talks, art making, special programs, and tasty food and drinks (for purchase). Our performances and activities will give everyone a chance to celebrate traditions that are passed from one generation to the next.

A look at the fun this month from 5–8 pm:   

Begin at our Welcome Table in the Hawks Pavilion! Pick up a program and map for the evening. We can let you know about membership opportunities, upcoming programs, our Bloomberg Connects digital guide, and Art Card self-guide resources. We also can help with any accessibility needs.   
Don’t miss a 6 pm conversation in Abbott Hall* with Annika K. Johnson, PhD, Stacy and Bruce Simon Curator of Native American Art, and Thomas H. Price, PhD, Richard and Mary Holland Assistant Curator of American Western Art.
Take a break to enjoy a sampling of sweet treats from International Bakery (while supplies last).
Watch a performance by the youth dance team from the Gurukulam Center for Indian Arts
Talk about traditions with folks at community partner tables, from a variety of community organizations. 
Create an art project with Teaching Artist Stephanie Carlson-Pruch.
Slow down and sketch in the galleries.
Check out our Art Cart station, with opportunities to touch hands-on materials and talk about art with our friendly Gallery Volunteers.  
The Founder’s Room is designated as a quiet space for this event. 
Café Society: Art and Sociability in Paris, 1855–1914, is free to all from 4–8 pm today; always free to Joslyn members. 
Don’t forget to check out more great spaces—The Cafe offers food and drink for sale. The Shop has beautiful art items for all ages and interests. If you are part of an intergenerational group, be sure to visit Art Works: A Place for Curiosity, an interactive space with nine different art activity stations (children must be accompanied by adults).
