Visualizing Literature: Book Club for Art Lovers explores connections between the literary and visual arts through moderated book discussions and gallery tours led by Visualizing Literature Volunteers. Discussions begin in the Community Room and conclude in the galleries. The program occurs four times per year on selected dates in September, November, February, and April. Featured books are available for purchase in The Shop.

Opened in 1893, The American Girls’ Club in Paris was the center of expatriate living and of dedication to a calling in the fine arts, and singularly harbored a generation of independent, talented, and driven American women. Now in The Club, curator, art historian, and podcast host Jennifer Dasal presents the never-before-told story of the female-only Residence known as the Club, the philanthropists who created it, and the artists it housed.
